Description

A ~3 hours exposure of Bode’s Galaxy [M81 - on the left] and Cigar Galaxy [M82 - on the right]. These galaxies are located in the constellation Ursa Major, and are among the brightest galaxies in the night sky, making them popular targets for amateur astronomers and astrophotographers. M81 is a grand design spiral galaxy, while M82 is a starburst galaxy, known for its high rate of star formation.
